艺术的表达拥有穿透地理屏障和探讨身份叙事的特质，三年的海外经历不仅让艺术家成为世界认知中国当代文化的窗口，也在蓬勃而流动的全球艺术讨论中留下痕迹。

Artistic expression is characterized by penetrating geographical barriers and exploring identity narratives. The three-year overseas experience not only makes the artist a window for the world to understand Chinese contemporary culture, but also leaves traces in the dynamic and flowing global art discussion.

记忆是一种凝聚力、一种情感，甚至是一种行为。黄佳以一种日常劳作的方式，反复累加。如同展览中这些具有宗教、祭坛性的作品，如此的唯一性、神圣性，这是黄佳对于当代艺术抽象领域的独特贡献。

Memory is a cohesive force, an emotion, even a behavior. Huang Jia in a way of daily labor, repeated accumulation. Just like the religious and altar works in the exhibition, they are so unique and sacred, which is Huang Jia's unique contribution to the abstract field of contemporary art.

如果说早期作品里以封闭的空间去探索外部的世界与欲望，是为外放，那么今天则是在“内收”，从现实主义绘画到今天的抽象极简主义，黄佳都在一次次提取早期已存在的抽象基因。“第四维度”，通过“隐入时间”、“不可预知”、“Berlin、Berlin!”三个篇章，还原和复杂传达了作为第四维度的时间印记。

If in his early works, he used closed space to explore the external world and desire for external release, then today he is "absorbing". From realistic painting to today's abstract minimalism, Huang Jia has been extracting the existing abstract genes in his early days again and again. "The Fourth dimension," through "hidden in time," "unpredictable," "Berlin, Berlin! Three chapters, reductive and complex convey the imprint of time as the fourth dimension.

在观察作品时，我们发现非常强烈的对于绘画实践的悖论，充满了各种矛盾性、不确定性以及否定性也充满了复杂性。作品具有抵抗现代主义的个体膨胀，已经超越了经典的现代主义的创作方式，在抵抗抽象绘画的僵化。

When observing the works, we find a strong paradox of painting practice, which is full of contradictions, uncertainties and negations as well as complexity. The works have resisted the individual expansion of modernism, which has gone beyond the classic modernist creation mode and resisted the rigidity of abstract painting.

黄佳在欧洲建构主义传统中尝试将绘画作为时空连续体，巧妙地处理了马列维奇的至上主义，例如她的黑方块，其中绘画离开了三维，成为思想的投影面。她建立了人类思维和情感的普遍桥梁。

Huang Jia attempts to use painting as a time-space continuum in the European constructivist tradition, subtly dealing with Malevich's supremacism, such as her black squares, in which painting leaves three dimensions and becomes a projection plane of thought. She built a universal bridge between human thought and emotion.

策展人

Stephan von Wiese

Stephan von Wiese德国艺术史学家和博物馆馆长，1943年出生于汉堡，学习艺术史。曾在斯图加特国家美术馆工作，并从1976年开始领导杜塞尔多夫Kunstmuseum am Ehrenhof 的现代部门，即今天的 Museum Kunstpalast。Von Wiese 是Max Beckmann和ZERO的专家。策划了许多展览并出版了相应的画册。

Constanze Kleiner 

自由策展人，出生于柏林，在艺术和文化领域拥有超过 20 年的经验。作为柏林白立方的发起人，她与搭档柏林艺术家 Coco Kühn 一起担任展览组织者，开始了她的职业生涯。

Constanze Kleiner 作为经理和策展人实现了多个文化项目，包括 2012 年至 13 年，她作为艺术总监，在波兰什切青建立了第一家城市拥有的当代艺术机构。2013 年，她在什切青新美术馆“Trafo”和什切青国家博物馆举办了多场国际知名艺术家个展。

黄佳

黄佳，生于湖南长沙，现工作和生活在柏林和深圳，1985年湖南师范大学油画系毕业开始艺术创作至今，参加92年广州双年展获得提名奖，作品被各大艺术机构和画廊及藏家收藏。《Asia 周刊》《新视觉》《江苏画刊》《当代艺术》《国家美术》《中国90年代艺术史》等专题报道，2015年成立du/lab 空间和担任制造文化艺术空间艺术总监和策划多个当代艺术展览，北京偏锋新艺术空间、北京艺廊国际、北京艺术粮仓、上海索美空间、柏林候鸟空间、柏林 K&W画廊代理艺术家。
