站台中国将于5月22日隆重推出刘港顺的最新个展《自选集》。本次展览是继2017年刘港顺大型个展《所有》之后，于北京画廊周期间呈现的艺术家在站台中国的第二次个展。此次展览以近期作品为主，并在以往的创作中匹配线索与依据。“自选集”字面含义即自我选择、自我编辑，更重要的是呈现刘港顺的关于自我生成与话语输出的内在逻辑，其作品构成了主体和信息关系的集合，在该层面上我们可以看到艺术家所独有的方法论，它们有时是清晰的、有时是疑惑的，甚至是混沌的、任性的，但我们会阅读出那个丰富而精彩的刘港顺。

 

自选集的展览概念由艺术家自我拟定，《自选集》的海报，以商务印书馆“汉译世界学术名著”的经典范式，巧妙的将我们带入刘港顺的工作系统，也引出百年来中国文化景观的输入与输出，他的工作即突显了这个时代的文化表征。

 

本次展览特邀鲁明军先生对刘港顺的工作做了系统性的梳理和阐述，我们将在公众号中独立推送该篇文字。

Platform China is previleged to announce that Liu Gangshun's latest solo exhibition "A Personal Anthology " will be launched on May 22, 2020. This exhibition is the artist’s second solo exhibition in the Platform China after the large-scale solo exhibition "ALL" in 2017. Literally, " A Personal Anthology" means self-selected and self-edited. However, it’s more important to present Liu Gangshun's internal logic about self-generation and discourse output. His works create a collection of the relationship between subject and information. On this level, we can see the artist’s unique methodologies, they are sometimes clear, sometimes puzzled, even chaotic and wayward, but we will find a generous and wonderful Liu Gangshun eventually.

  

This solo exhibition " A Personal Anthology " is named by artist himself. The poster using the classic paradigm of "Chinese Translation of World Academic Masterpieces" by the Commercial Press, cleverly brought us into Liu Gangshun's work system, and also led to the input and output of Chinese cultural landscapes in the past century. His work highlights the cultural symbolism of the age.

 

This exhibition invited Mr. Lu Mingjun and will continue until July 5, 2020. In this exhibition, Mr. Lu Mingjun is invited to make a systematic review and explanation of Liu Gangshun's work. We will presents the explanation paper in our wechat account independently.

About Artist

刘港顺，1963年生于湖北黄石，现工作生活于北京。
